Apparently, Ramzy Baroud thinks, "Zionism is Racism" isn't a clever enough slogan to get traditional Israeli sympathizers to walk a mile in a Palestinian's shoes. That must be why he wrote "Racism plagues western media" as a much more subtle yet equally narrow minded and intentionally cornering piece. With the outline of his argument seized from the same-sex marriage and immigration debates, Ramzy easily concludes that one must be racist if they disagree with his allegedly empirical points of view. Naturally, his view is that illegal, overly harsh, and certainly unsympathetic Israeli aggressions are the reason for all of the Palestinian strife. He goes on to say that if you are a recipient of the NYT or FOX news (yea, he's so far left he linked the two) you are destined to be a racist on the issue, intentionally or not.
Ramzy hooked me up with a great piece for my first post and he capped it off with an elite form of hypocrisy that only a terrorist-apologing leftist could have vurped up. I am so relieved to have Ramzy's classically antisemitic statement embedded right here for me on my opening day, in an article where he calls Jewish supporters racist! He blessed me with this beauty. "By not challenging the Israeli narrative in any meaningful way, the uncritical media has become a tool in the hands of Israel's war strategists and their eternal concoctions." ETERNAL CONCOCTIONS!? Wait, that has a whiff of the darkest form of antisemitism to it! The old, "vast jewish conspiracy?" Let me guess Ramzy. Israel also uses young muslims to make holiday cookies and/or dreidels which are spun as easily as the globe is twirled by the Elders of Zion!
